Rachelle Bussières originally made these images as unique lumen photograms (exposed and fixed silver gelatin prints) during the fall of 2018 in San Francisco, CA. Those prints were scanned and separated into 3 colors and this book was then printed with yellow, red, and blue on a Riso RZ390UI at Max’s Garage Press in Berkeley, CA.

This first edition of Shadows are Formations was produced in a run of 100 copies.
